This imposing, historic structure known as the City Drug Building is located at 109 W. Lafayette Street in the heart of Jefferson’s Historic Riverfront District. It was built about the year 1907 by J.A.R. Moseley, a prominent Jefferson medical doctor. The first uses of this two-story building ,with 8500 square feet total, were for a pharmacy and confections on the first level and for offices upstairs. There is also a mezzanine storage area . From 1911 until 2024, the first level was used mostly for a pharmacy which was last known as City Drug Company.
